We first came on-site in early March, when we measured and remeasured the area, which consisted of 6000 sq. ft. We visited the supplier yard 3 times, and samples were brought to my client. My clients finally decided upon a River Rock paver with a Victorian/Slate Finish in 3 sizes and charcoal borders. Always, when installing a driveway, we use a soil-cement base, which we did with this project.
The driveway entered the property through a large 14' gate, led up to a newly built shop, continued along a landscaped park area, and finished at a three-car garage. The finished project felt clean and well thought out—beautiful landscape lighting, trees, and shrubs flower around the driveway to display this beautiful stonework all year-round. We sealed the pavers with polymer sand and custom cut the borders. This made the driveway easy to clean and shovel all year long.
